After only two days, and making some changes to my website at Combat Cameras, I am back online in Thailand.
For some unknown reason, the Thai Internet censorship folks saw fit to block my website (at least on this ISP) and I only found out when I was going to revamp the site. I wasn’t able to log in and got a message in the Thai language that translated into something along the lines of – your site has inappropriate content and you are blocked.
Not sure what was inappropriate as the site only hosted military videos from Youtube – so even if I was blocked, the videos are still viewable at youtube.com.
I was able to make changes to the website going in through the IP address instead of the domain name and deleted the entire site, re-uploaded WordPress, and now host an automatic feed from Amazon.com promoting military products.
Hopefully, this doesn’t upset the Thai censor.
