Another day, another copyright violation by the Tourism Authority of Thailand
Once again, the Tourism Authority of Thailand shows no respect for other people’s work. This time they stole from The Nation. Guess they didn’t read that copyright notice on the bottom of the web page.
This was posted on Facebook by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, (Amazing Thailand), and the text reads
April is the month of Khao Chae; traditional Thai dish created for the summer comprises iced aromatic rice served with an assortment of side dishes.Have you ever tasted it ?
Here is the original from an article in The Nation from 2006.
Take khao chae, for example. This traditional Thai dish created for the summer comprises iced aromatic rice served with an assortment of side dishes.
Notice the word for word copying? You can see the article in its entirety HERE.
You will also see at the bottom of the page

The Tourism Authority of Thailand also lifted the food photo. This one is posted on a forum, so I am not sure if it is the original, but it was posted in 2009. Hard to find photos when Facebook renames the image. The photo on the forum is named monfoodkhaochae.jpg. Maybe some forensics expert can determine the origin, You can see the Asia Finest Forum HERE.
Just goes to show that nothing original comes from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. They just copy, paste, and steal other people’s work. Really a fine way to set the example – a government office in Thailand that can only plagiarize. Wonder how they spend the 5.4 Billion baht annual budget. Copy and Paste training?
Steal someone else’s writing from about 5 years ago. Steal someone’s photo from two years ago. It is good to see that the Tourism Authority of Thailand utilizes its time and assets so wisely. Would hate to have to see them come up with an original idea or promotion.
Maybe, one of these days, someone will get pissed off enough and sue the Tourism Authority of Thailand for plagiarism.

That is certainly not true.
If they copied and pasted more they would get more correct, or less incorrect.
Their original stuff is what they really screw up
