Khao Yai National Park photo stolen by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
Here we go again. This was posted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand Sukjai Thailand Facebook page yesterday evening. Yes, another photo theft and some more text stolen.
Here is the Tourism Authority of Thailand Sukjai Thailand Facebook post:
Here are the two photos side-by-side. The left side is from the Khaoyaizone.com and the right is the same photo stolen by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and posted to their Facebook page:
Look close at the two photos. The photo on the left from Khaoyaizone.com is sized at 300×225 and has a watermark in the bottom right corner. The photo displayed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand on the right is sized at 300×196 and has been cropped to remove the watermark. TAT trying to hide the evidence.
The majority of the text looks like it comes from this web site although there are a few other websites with similar text. Regardless, the Tourism Authority of Thailand stole all but the last sentence where they ask if you have been there.
Thailand’s taxpayers baht to the tune of 5.4 Billion this fiscal spent on a government agency (TAT) that steals other people’s work and claims it as its own. TAT totally disregards copyright law and blatantly steals photos and text and posts them to their Amazing Thailand Facebook pge.
This is just one more example of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and their theft of intellectual property.
