Another Facebook Promotions Guidelines Violation for the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Khon Kaen.

One more time for the Tourism Authority of Thailand Khon Kaen Office to violate Facebook’s Promotions Guidelines.  They just continue and continue despite me having sent them a direct link to the guidelines.  They choose to ignore.

Tourism Authority of Thailand Dinosaur Photo Contest

This was another contest/promotion from the Tourism Authority of Thailand Khon Kaen where people had to post a photo to the Facebook Wall of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Khon Kaen and then people voted by clicking “Like”  Both are clear violations.

Today, the Tourism Authority of Thailand posted the names of the winners on Facebook.  This is also a violation.

There you have it.  The continuing saga of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Khon Kaen – A Government Office in Thailand that violates policy guidelines on Facebook on a regular basis, provides misinformation, posts photos of events after the fact, fails to promote events in Isaan, fails to promote to foreigners, and provides information only to the Thai locals.
