George Holland You have either the choice to drink warm beer or put ice in. The beer will stay cool for only 10 minutes; the larger bottles will take longer to drink. In Suk/Silom you can only buy small bottles. I don't think its to do with keeping the beer cool; they know they can make more profit by selling small ones for 80-100 baht. They only cost them 20 baht.

Frank Gilbert Anderson As a beer drinker for decades, I can attest that putting ice in my beer is to keep it cool on the way in and down. If you prefer warm beer that is fine, but if you like it cool and it's warming up because of ambient temperatures, do what suits you.

George Holland If lager was always served at room temp like some beers not many would drink it. The fact its chilled makes it tastes better....until it gets warm...then its time for the ice. In the uk there is no need for ice for obvious reasons.
