Here is the latest on construction of Westfall mansion in Khon Kaen.

The workers have been blessed with good weather here and some of my wife’s home cooking, so the house is moving along.  The walls and ceiling are being plastered and the A/C unit in the master bedroom has been installed.  The workers will do a small cut-out on the underside of the A/C unit for access to the filters.

The stuff in the green bags is insulation that we had put in above the room ceilings.

Here is a shot of what will be the cooking/laundry area of our  home – the slanted roof and to the right is the car port with storage area.  Photo is of the rear of the house.

We are still hoping to move in by the end of December but realistically it looks like sometime in January will be the date.  We still need to get two more A/C units – one for the guest bedroom and one for my computer room – smaller units than in the master bedroom.

My wife has already purchased most of the plumbing stuff – faucets and shower head, etc. And we are still looking for a TV to go along with the entertainment center we already bought.

The bank account is steadily going downhill but we already have a lot of the furnishings purchased.  Can’t wait to move in.
