I wasn’t sure whether to title this post as a Joint Venture or a Joint Adventure because it is a little of both – merging Khon Kaen and Isaan.  So, I decided to combine the terms and came up with Ad-venture.  I am sure that this is not at all original. And, yes, I know. Khon Kaen is in Isaan.

Anyhow, this is to announce the start of two websites devoted to Thailand.  One site, KhonKaenBuzz.com has photos of all of Thailand and the other site, Isaan.biz, will have  photos devoted to Northeastern Thailand.

The way this came about is two like-minded guys living in Khon Kaen decided it was better to join forces than do the same things independently.  Both have blogs about Northeastern Thailand – this one and Isaan-Live, both guys are about the same age with the same sick, sense of humor, both love taking photos, and mostly, both love the place that they retired in – Isaan.

Tom and Larry share a love for traveling around Isaan, visiting and photographing temples, markets, and people, and share a love for Thai beer (Leo for Tom and Singha for Larry).

They met online through Facebook and Twitter, have now gone on a couple of Isaan Road Trips, and work together developing web sites, share photo tips, and help each other maintain sanity in a country that has some very unusual laws.

They will still maintain their individual blogs and post separate photos on them, but they will compile the best of the best, high resolution photos, and make them available for viewing, purchasing prints, or using to send free e-cards.
