Another update on how the house in Khon Kaen is coming along.
They have been going at it for 5 months now and it is starting to really take shape. Most of the perimeter wall is completed. About the only thing left there is to get the very front finished and add a gate.
Inside the house, tile is being placed on the walls of the kitchen and the bathroom.

My wife has been busy shopping all over Khon Kaen City and has already picked up some furniture and had it sent to the house.

And today, she took over the gas stove top, the oven, the ventilation hood, some interior ceiling lights, bathroom water heaters, and some other odds and ends to be installed.
It is looking like we will be able to occupy the Westfall Mansion in Khon Kaen in early February or maybe late January if we get lucky.
We already contacted the landlord of the place we are staying and asked for an extra month or so on our lease since it expires on 31 Dec 2010. He readily agreed (though his ex-wife didn’t so there may be a fight later on this month).
It was nice to get rid of the stuff that will be installed at the Khon Kaen house today – we now have some breathing room in the little two-bedroom place we are now staying.
Well, that is about it – the house is moving along and we are both getting antsy to move in.
