Weather has been on our side despite it being “rainy season’ in Thailand. We have enjoyed hot and dry weather for the past week and the construction crew has been hard at work. There are three main areas being worked on.
- Perimeter wall. These are cinder blocks being put up around 3/4ths of the property. We will add the front wall and gate later.
- House walls. These are the small orange bricks that are done one by one and are now starting to form rooms with areas open for windows.
- The roof. The frame is up and they are supposed to start putting the roof tiles on tomorrow.
The plan is to get it all done and us moved in by the end of the year and the crew is ahead of schedule.
