Celebrated my 59th birthday yesterday and just stayed at home and relaxed. Basically, it was just another day.Until the some of the family came over. My brother-in-law, his wife, an aunt, an uncle, and a niece dropped in about 1900 last night and surprised me with a birthday cake.
I was just chillin’ on the front porch, having a few beers, and a few of my wife’s family came over and joined me in the beers.
It wasn’t a surprise birthday party, just a few of the family came over to sing “Happy Birthday To You” (twice) and share some food and drink.
Very nice sentiment and you can see that L’s and R’s are difficult for Thais.
I also want to thank everyone on Facebook that wished me well on my 59th. I am really looking forward to my 60th as that is when my US Army Reserve pension kicks in. 29 1/2 years of active duty and reserve service and have to wait 11 years to get a pension. Hopefully, I will still be around.
