Did The Tourism Authority Of Thailand Steal Photos Again?

Photo stolen by the Tourism Authority of Thailand?

It sure appears that the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has broken the law again by using another web site’s photo and not giving credit to the photographer.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand Sukjai Facebook page posted some photos of fruit today.  Here is a screen shot:

I downloaded both photos.  The first is from the TAT and the second is from Vanfood.com

They sure look the same to me.  The only thing that I did to the Tourism Authority of Thailand version of the photo was change the width and height to match the original photo. Since I am not 100% sure that the photo was taken without permission by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, I emailed the owners of the Vanfood.com website and gave them the information..  But, even if permission was given, credit for the photo should indicate the photographer and not make it look like the Tourism Authority of Thailand took the photo. Until I am told otherwise by Vanfoods, I will strongly suspect that this photo was stolen by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
