It sure looks like the Tourism Authority of Thailand stole another photo.
This time it is a photo of a guy cooking up some fried chicken that appears to have been copied by the Tourism Authority of Thailand Sukjai Thailand Facebook page from news.mthai.com. You be the judge.
My guess is that the Tourism Authority of Thailand stole the photo since the watermark with the Photographer’s name – Bronek Kaminski – is still on it and the link for “credit” points to the new.mthai.com site. I would bet a year’s pension that no permission was granted.
I did email Mr. Kaminski to ask if he had giver permission to the Tourism Authority of Thailand to post the photo, but as of right now, no reply. I will update if I get an answer.
On a side note, the Tourism Authority of Thailand Sukjai Thailand Facebook page un-liked/disliked/de-friended/whatever to me so that I couldn’t see their posts. I guess they are computer literate enough to realize that all I have to do is go back to their Facebook page and “Like” them again (even though I really don’t “like” them).
I am starting to think that the Tourism Authority of Thailand thinks this is some sort of game they are playing with me. Well, they can delete me as many times as they want, and I will continue to return.
When the people I have been notifying of the intellectual Property thefts start taking action, the Tourism Authority of Thailand will find itself in some very hot water.
I just checked my email, and I received a reply from Mr. Kaminski indicating that this photo theft by the Tourism Authority of Thailand will be officially reported.

I really feel sorry for poor mr. Kaminski.
But it is not as worse as Mr. Kaminski treats his victims……!
Mr. Kaminski cares about intellectual property???? He does not care about image rights, and does not care to provide the wrong information with his pictures. He can even not write the name rom his victims right.
